Sea Scallop (Placopecten magellanicus) is a delicious scallop commercially harvested in the cold pristine waters of the Atlantic Ocean found primarily at depths ranging from 10 to 50 fathoms (20 m to 100 m).
The Bay of Fundy and especially our homeport of Digby, is known worldwide as the Home of the World Famous Digby Scallops. We sell scallops in both fresh and frozen form. Our vessels and partner vessels harvest sea scallop year-round as part of the Full Bay Scallop Association fishery, a fishery that has been certified by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) as sustainable.
Our vessels primarily land scallop in the Under 12 (U-12) / 10-20 / 20-30 count per pound size-grades. Our Royal Fundy Brand always contains a pure and natural product without additives or preservatives. We sell boat-run or size-graded fresh scallop, size-graded Individually Quick Frozen (I.Q.F.) and size-graded block-frozen scallop.
